Review by hotel critic
I recently enjoyed a peaceful getaway at the Merchant, and it left me feeling quite rejuvenated. Nestled in a lovely spot, this hotel offers a basement spa that instantly envelops you in a serene atmosphere of candlelight. I opted for a hot stone massage, which was perfect for easing the stress of everyday life. Afterward, I made good use of the relaxation room—a truly cozy space to unwind. The hotel also features a stylish rooftop fitness center with an outdoor hot tub that boasts stunning views of the city. I didn’t get to take part in the live music at the on-site nightclub, but I appreciated the varied experiences offered. Breakfast provided a solid start to each day. The Merchant is a well-thought-out hotel that creates a tranquil environment, making it an appealing option for travelers looking for some peaceful downtime. Whether it’s for solo relaxation or a couple’s retreat, it ticks the right boxes.
